On February 19, 2024 ISRT celebrated the reception of its first-year undergraduate students of Applied Statistics and Data Science (ISRT batch 29) and bid farewell to the students of Batch 24 who lately completed the Master’s program in Applied Statistics. The program was held in the TSC auditorium. The Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) of DU, Prof. Dr. Sitesh Chandra Bachar decorated the position of the chief guest in the event and Prof. Dr. Md. Abdus Samad, the Honorable Dean, Faculty of Science was the special guest. The Director of ISRT, Prof. Dr. Tamanna Howlader chaired the program. Under the guidance of a program convening committee of faculty members, Batch 28 (current 2nd year) students worked dedicatedly towards organizing a memorable event which was attended by ISRT faculty members, students, staff and guests from other departments. A beautiful cultural progam with full of exciting performances by students followed a formal opening ceremony. ISRT family welcomes the students of 29^th batch and wishes the students of 24^th batch a glorious future ahead.
