Stata for Applied Statistics and Data Science

The Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka, is the leading institution for training and research in Applied Statistics and Data Science in Bangladesh.

After successfully conducting 13 training programs on Stata, ISRT is now organizing its 14th on-campus program “Stata for Applied Statistics and Data Science”, starting on November 07, 2025.

Structure

Mode: On-campus (in-person) training

Number of seats: 45 (limited, first come, first served)

Number of training hours: 30

Schedule:

  • Friday & Saturday (9 AM – 12 PM)
  • (OR) Friday (3 PM – 9 PM)
  • (OR) Saturday (3 PM – 9 PM)

(The final batch schedule will depend on participant registration numbers and preferences.. Tea break will be given after every 1.5 hours)

Registration Fees

  • Professionals: Tk. 15,000
  • Students (Up to Master’s Level): Tk. 12,000

(Currently enrolled students and professionals of DU are eligible for a registration fee discount of BDT 2,000.00. To qualify as a student, a Valid Student ID must be presented. MPhil and PhD researchers will also be considered eligible for this category.)

Requirements

  • Participants should have a basic knowledge in statistics and computer fundamentals
  • Participants must attend a minimum of 7 classes out of a total of 10 classes to be eligible for a certificate
