ISRT alumna Ajmery Jaman selected for 2015 ISI Jan Tinbergen Award

ISRT alumna Ajmery Jaman (15th batch of Applied Statistics) has been selected for the first prize of the 2015 ISI Jan Tinbergen Awards based on her paper “A Bias-Corrected Approach to Rotnitzky-Jewell Criteria for Appropriate Correlation Structure Selection in Generalized Estimating Equations”. Dr Mahbub Latif and Dr Wasimul Bari of University of Dhaka, and Dr Abdus Wahed of University of Pittsburgh are co-authors of the paper. The jury has selected her paper for the 60th ISI World Statistics Congress to be held in Rio de Janeiro from 26-31 July 2015. The award will be presented to her during the ISI and Associations Awards Ceremony on July 2015.
