ISRT, Statistics department and Qazi Motahar Husain Foundation jointly arranged a program on July 30 at TSC Auditorium to celebrate the 121th birthday of the founder of ISRT, National Professor Dr. Qazi Motahar Husain.

The students who stood first in the honors and masters from Applied Statistics, ISRT and Statistics Department were given medals and awards on this eve. An essay competition was also arranged by the Qazi Motahar Husain Foundation. The foundation, for the second time, awarded top students of Applied Statistics and Statistics. Award winners from ISRT are  Tasneem Fatima Alam for being the first in honors in 2017; Md. Mynul Islam for being the first in masters in 2017. Two ISRT students, Durjoy Dey and Priom Saha (2nd year) also got awarded for their essays.
