- ISRT faculty member Sharif Mahmood has left Dhaka for Manhattan, Kansas, USA on July 27. Sharif Mahmood will start his graduate studies at the Department of Statistics, Kansas State University from the Fall, 2013.

- ISRT faculty member Mahbub Latif has also left Dhaka for Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA on July 27. Mahbub Latif will be visiting at the Department of Biostatistics, University of North Carolinaat Chapel Hill for about a six month period.
