ISRT Golden Jubilee Award ceremony 2023 took place on 06 December at the ISRT Seminar room. This year, Md. Muhitul Alam and Md. Abdullah Al Fahim from Session 2021-22 jointly received the prestigious award for achieving the highest CGPA in the B.S. Honors Examination 2022. 

 

The honorable Vice Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, Professor Dr. A. S. M. Maksud Kamal, attended the occasion as the chief guest and handed over the awards and certificates to the awardees. Professor Dr. Md. Abdus Samad, Dean of the Faculty of Science, joined the event as a special guest, while Professor Dr. Tamanna Howlader, Director of ISRT, presided over the program. The convenor of the award ceremony committee, Professor Dr. Jahida Gulshan, delivered the welcome speech.

 

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. A. S. M. Maksud Kamal extended his heartiest congratulations to the award recipients. He was hopeful that this prize-giving would encourage students. He also emphasized the importance of Data Science in the present era for evidence-based analysis and decisions. Moreover, the Vice Chancellor expressed his hope that the students will play a significant role in building a prosperous and sustainable nation.
