ISRT Golden Jubilee Gold Medal Award Program 2021 was held on 26 May 2022 at the
ISRT Seminar room. This year, the awardee was Awan Afiaz from the 23rd Batch for
achieving the highest CGPA in the 4th Year B.S. Honors Examination 2020 without any
improvement examination in the integrated four-year B.S. Honors program. In addition, he is
the first student to attain a CGPA of 4 out of 4 among the graduates from ISRT. The Pro-
Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of the University of Dhaka, Professor Dr. A. S. M. Maksud
Kamal, presented the gold medal and certificate to the awardee and congratulated him for his
outstanding achievement. Professor Dr. Md. Abdus Samad, Dean, Faculty of Science, also
attended the event as a special guest, while the Director of the ISRT, Professor Dr.
Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman, chaired the award ceremony. The faculty members and the
students of ISRT were also present at the ceremony to congratulate the awardee.

prestigious award and wishes him the best in his next steps and future endeavors.
