ISRT is Proud to Support Student-Led Relief Efforts for Flood Victims in Cumilla

The Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT) is proud to showcase the dedication of our students as they prepare and pack relief items for those affected by the recent flash floods. Our students have organized three types of relief packets to meet the diverse needs of the victims:

  1. General Packet: Includes essential medicines, water bottles, soap, dry food (such as Chhira, Muri, and Gurr), water purification tablets, mosquito coils, lighters, and other necessities.
  2. Women’s Packet: Specially prepared for young women, containing clothes and personal hygiene products.
  3. Infant Packet: Contains essential items for infants, such as milk, wrapping cloths, biscuits, rice saline, and diapers.

To ensure these supplies reach those in need, the students have arranged transportation, renting a truck. They have also collaborated with students from the Microbiology, IIT, and CSE departments, and the relief team set off early this morning.

ISRT is immensely proud of the enthusiasm and dedication shown by our students in this humanitarian effort. Their commitment to making a difference during this challenging time reflects the spirit of compassion and solidarity that ISRT values and encourages.
