ISRT mourns the sudden death of its 1st-year student Baejid Bostami (23rd batch). Today (05 April 2017) he drowned in the pond of Shahidullah hall at around 6 p.m. and despite all the instantaneous efforts made by the fire service, he could not be saved in due time. He was taken to the Emergency Unit of Dhaka Medical College where the doctors declared him dead. His Namaz-e-Janaza was held in the Shahidullah hall and then he was taken to his hometown Thakurgaon by the university authority accompanied by his friends and near ones.

ISRT has declared a day off in memory of its dear student Baejid Bostami. ISRT is also going to arrange a Dua Mahfil on 09 April 2017 (Sunday) at 9.30 a.m. at ISRT seminar room. We request everyone to attend the Dua Mahfil and pray for Baejid’s departed soul.
