ISRT has celebrated its golden jubilee through the first ever reunion in its history on 22 August (Friday), 2014 at ISRT premises. This reunion brought together all the graduates who studied at ISRT since its inception and reconnected them to their friends, batch-mates and of course, to their descendants – the current students of ISRT. The reunion program was made so memorable with the reminiscences, cultural programs, sporting events, raffle draw etc. that were arranged by the current students, faculty members and staffs of ISRT.

The honorable vice chancellor of the University of Dhaka Prof. Dr. A. A. M. S. Arefin Siddiqui inaugurated the reunion program at around 10am in the morning. It was followed by the speeches from the honorable director Prof Muhammad Shuaib, ex-directors and other special guests. The reminiscence from the alumni took everyone back to the old glorious days of ISRT. After the lunch, there were some funny sporting events for the alumni and their families. The program ended with a raffle draw followed by a fabulous cultural program. ISRT family thanks everyone for such an enthusiastic participation. The memory of this reunion will surely last long.
