We’re excited to share that the ISRT football team secured a fantastic win in the first match of the second round in the Dhaka University inter-department football tournament 2024! On November 18, 2024, our team went head-to-head against the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies (TPS) in the central field of the university. Under the captaincy of Tawhid Alam Afridi from Batch 25, the team showcased incredible determination and teamwork. Despite numerous close calls, the game was intense, with both halves ending in a 0-0 draw.

 

The real excitement unfolded during the nail-biting tiebreaker.  With precise shots from Arman (Batch 28), Jahid (Batch 30), and Sourav (Batch 26), ISRT’s composure under pressure secured a 3-2 tiebreaker victory!
