ISRT student Md. Rasel Biswas from batch 22 of Applied Statistics received the ISRT Golden Jubilee Gold Medal Award on March 23, 2021 for attaining the highest CGPA in his B.S. honors examination. This award was first introduced based on the Golden Jubilee celebration fund created during ICAS 2014. The student(s) achieving the highest CGPA in their B.S. (honors) examination without any improvement receives this award from ISRT each year. Md. Rasel Biswas was awarded this year for his extraordinary result. The award-giving ceremony took place online on the Zoom platform due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Professor Dr. A. S. M. Maksud Kamal, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of the University of Dhaka was the chief guest and congratulated the recipient for his success. Professor Dr. Mohammad Shafiqur Rahman, Director of ISRT chaired the award ceremony. The faculty members and students of ISRT were also present at the award ceremony to congratulate the awardee.
