ISRT is very pleased to announce that ISRT faculty member, Md. Tuhin Sheikh has received the prestigious “IBM Student Research Award” with a scholarship at the New England Statistics Symposium 2021 on October 3, 2021. The New England Statistical Society is one of the renowned societies including all the top schools.

Mr. Sheikh has also recently been awarded the prestigious “ISBA 2022 Travel Award” that will cover the registration fees, travel and living expenses to attend the ISBA 2022 World Meeting. The International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA) is a society including the world leaders in Bayesian Statistics.

Mr. Sheikh is currently on study leave and doing PhD at the University of Connecticut, USA. ISRT family expresses its heartiest congratulation to Mr. Sheikh for receiving these prestigious awards and wishes many more successes in his future.
