An orientation program was conducted for the recently admitted students of the new batch of Applied Statistics and Data Science honors program on August 16, 2023, at the ISRT Seminar room. The primary objective of the program was to extend a warm welcome to the newcomers, familiarize them with the ISRT community, acquaint them with the institution’s rules and regulations, provide insights into the academic and social activities at ISRT, introduce the various university resources available to support their academic and personal growth, and offer a glimpse into the potential opportunities that lie ahead upon completion of the Applied Statistics and Data Science program.

The event was presided over by Professor Dr. Tamanna Howlader, the Director of ISRT. The gathering included participation from ISRT faculty members and fellow students. This gathering of the ISRT family was an occasion to extend a hearty welcome to the incoming students and convey best wishes for their success in their forthcoming pursuits.
