“R-Fest 2024” organized by Batch 28 of ISRT

The sophomore class of ISRT (Batch 28) celebrated R programming excellence by successfully organizing “R-Fest 2024” for the first time under the supervision of Professor Mahbub Latif on 27 January 2024 in the ISRT seminar room.

The day-long event encompassed important domains of Statistics, including exploratory data analysis, statistical inference, and statistical computing using R  programming language. A total of ten groups covered various topics in their presentations, such as summarizing and visualizing large datasets, performing iterations more efficiently, hypothesis testing, design and analysis of experiments, mastering patterns with regular expression, versatility of Shiny app, leveraging C++ for optimal computational performance within R, creating an R package, and so on.

The event was an excellent opportunity for the R enthusiasts to exchange ideas and strengthen their knowledge. ISRT family wholeheartedly thanks the event organizers for such a great initiative and wishes them the best in their future endeavors.
