Two ISRT Faculty Members Awarded as DHS Fellows 2024

ISRT is happy to share that two faculty members of ISRT, Dr. Jahida Gulshan, Professor, and Mr. Priom Saha, Lecturer, have been awarded as the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) Fellows 2024. The DHS Program is a project of the U.S. Agency for International Development, contracted to ICF. The DHS Fellows Program is an important component of the capacity-strengthening strategy of the DHS Program. The primary purpose of the DHS Fellows Program is to develop in-country capacity for the further analysis of DHS data and to build long-term institutional sustainability for universities to train students and faculty to further analyze DHS data. This year, amidst a competitive pool of over 100 applications spanning 90 DHS countries, only five teams (each of two members) were selected as DHS fellows.

ISRT family congratulates Dr. Gulshan and Mr. Saha for this prestigious accomplishment and wishes them continued success in their endeavors.
