INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON ADVANCED STATISTICAL DATA ANALYSIS AND OPERATIONAL RESEARCH 2020 (iADORE2020)
7th & 8th DECEMBER 2020
Welcome to the International Symposium on Advanced Data Analysis and Operational Research (iADORE2020). An international symposium that focusses on applications relating to areas of statistics and operation research. The symposium will be held from December 7 through December 8, 2020, virtually. iADORE2020 is an excellent platform for statisticians, operational researchers and industry practitioners to get the latest insight and updates on various applications in many problems.
Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka, Bangladesh is jointly organizing iADORE2020 with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) (the host of iADORE2020) and Andalas University, Indonesia.
The theme of the symposium is “Enriching Transdisciplinary Research Collaborations Beyond Borders”. This event includes keynote, skills showcase and contributed sessions.

17 – 19 December 2019
International Workshop on Sampling Methodologies for Monitoring Sustainable Development Goal Indicators, sponsored by the International Statistical Institute (ISI) and World Bank (WB), to be organized by the Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in December 17-19, 2019. Main objectives are to understand key concepts of SDGs, the targets and indicators, gain familiarity with the indicator framework and Statistical Quality Assurance Framework (SQAF), understand the sampling designs commonly used to monitor SDG indicators and appreciate the role of surveys in measuring SDG indicators, learn new technologies for survey data collection, entry, analysis and visualization and gain practical experience through presentations, group work and case studies. Intended participants are the academicians, scholars, employees of national statistical offices as well as government and non-government organizations, practitioners, students and postgraduates of SAARC member countries.
