ISRT recently concluded its training program, “R for Applied Statistics and Data Science,” that took place at ISRT from February 2, 2024, to February 22, 2024.
Data enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds attended this workshop. The attendees were mainly faculty, research students, and government/nongovernment employees involved in research work. Through this training program, ISRT provides extensive knowledge of R and focuses on theoretical knowledge-building and applying this knowledge to real data problems through practical problem-solving sessions.
Successful attendees received certificates at the end of the program. Director of ISRT Professor Dr. Tamanna Howlader, Professor Mahabub Latif, and Convener of the R training program Dr. M. Iftakhar Alam were present at the certificate-giving ceremony.
ISRT hopes the trainees can implement the knowledge obtained from this program to address emerging data analysis issues in their professional endeavors.
