ABSTRACT
This talk will briefly explain the issues related to poverty and well-being. Here, rather than mathematical argue, issues will be more focused on the literal approaches of poverty. The need for poverty measurements, choice of welfare indicators, and measures of poverty lines and poverty indices will be also discussed in this session. This talk would be helpful for the students who want to analyze and work in the field of poverty and its reduction.
