ABSTRACT
The talk explores statistical methods in air pollution studies with examples from Dr. Eftim’s own research on the health effects of exposure to PM2.5 and mortality in the Medicare cohort. Some other examples include transboundary air pollution from forest fires, asthma exacerbation and traffic related air pollution, and studies of personal exposure to air pollutants.
