ABSTRACT
Identifying differentially expressed genes is one of the common goals of microarray experiments. For a given number of available arrays and number of treatment conditions, different microarray experiments can be considered. The use of an efficient design in microarry experiments can improve the power of the inferential procedure. The selection of an efficient microarray design is important for identifying differentially expressed genes. In this talk a genetic algorithm based method of selecting efficient designs will be discussed.
