The Institute of Applied Statistics and Data Science (IASDS) is pleased to announce the installation of a new tea and coffee vending machine on the 4th floor, providing students, faculty, and staff with quick, convenient access to freshly prepared hot beverages. Coinciding with the first day of academic classes under the newly renamed IASDS, the machine is now operational and serving Masala Tea for BDT 10 and Coffee for BDT 20, bringing an affordable and modern refreshment service to the institute.

IASDS has collaborated with Aloron Projukti, a Dhaka-based technology company specializing in industrial automation, IoT, cybersecurity, and software solutions, to introduce this smart tea and coffee vending machine. Aloron Projukti is responsible for the machine’s centralized monitoring, maintenance, and overall operation. One key feature of this automated system is that it requires no human intervention. Users simply scan the QR code, select their preferred beverage, complete payment, and the machine automatically dispenses the drink along with a cup, ensuring a seamless, contactless experience.
